THE SCREAM BREAKS THE SILENCE

A bloodcurdling yell shattered the suffocating silence. It echoed within the deserted hall, eliciting goosebumps to rise on my arms. A heart hammered inside his chest as I attempted to figure out the location of the frightening sound. Was it real? Or was my imagination running amuck in the gloomy stillness? I waited frozen in fear, struggling to a
